As a beginner, I used to keep a “Tarot Journal.” I put that in quotes because, honestly, you’d have to be pretty generous with your definition of a Tarot Journal to count it as one. I’d had enough of relying solely on the “little white books” that came with my decks to interpret the cards’ meanings and wanted to memorize them for myself.
