Shipping Policy

US Customers

The customer has the option to select which carrier and shipping method they prefer. However, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you select Priority Mail shipping option, as this includes up to $100 insurance if the package is lost or damaged in transit.

Please note that First Class shipping option does NOT include insurance if the package is lost or damaged. Xiahunt is NOT responsible for packages that are not received if the tracking status indicates the package was successfully delivered (i.e., if the item is stolen, delivered to the wrong address, etc.). Xiahunt is NOT responsible if the package is damaged due to the postal service if this option was selected. 

If the outside package arrives in a damaged condition which results in damage to the package contents, please be sure to take photographs of all damage to both the external box and internal contents and notify us as soon as possible at xiahunt.com so we can work with you to remedy the situation. 

International Customers

We recognize and sympathize that the cost of international shipping is so high. Unfortunately, we cannot avoid that. Though FIrst Class International mail service is the least expensive option, we STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you choose Priority International service, DHL, or UPS Global instead. First Class service does NOT include insurance if your item is lost, damaged, or returned to sender. Additionally, most countries are not required by the USPS to scan or update tracking status of packages sent via First Class International mail once they are in your country. What this means is that we cannot tell if a package is successfully delivered or not. Xiahunt is NOT responsible for replacing or refunded lost, stolen, or damaged packages if this option is selected, however, we will work with you to remedy the situation if we are able to. 

IMPORTANT: Depending on the policies of your country, you may be required to pay additional import duties, taxes, or customs fees on your package. The mail service will attempt to collect those monies during delivery. If they are not able to, they will hold your package for a few days to allow you time to contact them and make arrangements to pay the fees. However, if you do not pay within a specific time, which varies by country, then the package will be returned to sender. If this occurs, we can re-send your order after the package is returned to us, but you will be responsible for paying the mail charge again. 

Also, please note that a First Class International shipment can take from 5 days to 5 weeks to be delivered, depending on how quickly your country's customs office and postal service processes packages.
