This woven & wearable spell is designed for spiritual and material protection. It uses large, natural, smooth Smokey quartz beads (a protective stone that shields against nightmares and transmutes negative energy into positive energy), Blue-flash Moonstone (which is said to bring peace, and be especially protective for travelers, women, and children, while also facilitating spiritual awareness and enhancing intuition) and Labradorite (also called The Shaman stone and said to act as a psychic and spiritual shield while facilitating spiritual growth and transformation) woven in segments of three, broken up by 12 sterling silver hexagonal beads engraved with the glyphs of the zodiac. This pendant opens and closes with Saturn’s signs (Aquarius and Capricorn) because it’s purpose is to to banish negative energies and influences, bind enemies so that they cannot work against you, and purge corruptive influences. 3 is a sacred number for saturn as a part of His magick square. Saturn rules over bindings, banishing, contracts, and restrictions and so His energy is used here to restrict and banish negative energies. The large Hexagonal smoky quartz focal bead is a beautiful piece in and of itself, and represents the interweaving of the spiritual and the material—in this case, offering both forms of shielding and protection when necessary.

Please note that this piece is made of natural gemstones!! The marks you see within the smoky quartz gemstones are NOT cracks, they are natural inclusions which develop as the stone forms within the womb of the earth. These configurations mark the stones as natural, and add an organic beauty and uniqueness to the piece. Because the smoky quartz are semitransparent by nature, and this piece uses larger, smooth-polish beads (not faceted) these inclusions are more obvious than is sometimes the case with other, smaller beads. They actually help catch the light in a really beautiful way that I was unfortunately not able to capture in my office lighting! All part of the fun of working with natural gemstone beads!
