Encounters with the Imaginary *** B-GRADE***

Quite some time ago, I was privileged by being selected to take part in this beautiful anthology: “Encounters with the Imaginary”, a soft cover, large format art book with 208 glossy finish pages. 

Each artist selected for this project was instructed to choose a mythological creature and write a short about it,  which they would then illustrate. I chose to work with the merrow, an Irish mermaid whose species comes with a shocking sexual dimorphism—the females being beautiful and enticing, while the males are monstrous and wrathful. There are so many wonderful artists in this book, and I feel truly honored to have been among them, and a part of this magical collection.
