Copper Electroformed Wolf Walker Talisman/Crystal Alter Piece
Wolf Walker Talisman/Crystal Alter Piece
This magical extra large clear quartz point is adorned with a carved onyx wolf, topped with an angel aura quartz cluster, and finished with a blue flash labradorite moon, all electroformed in copper with a antique patina. It’s quite heavy, designed to act more as an altar piece or a wall hanging than a pendant (however, I can put a chain on it for you if you want...let me know by email or in the order notes).
The wolf in many respects represents the duality of mankind. He is often portrayed as the protector of his pack, a spiritual and ancestral guide, and a loyal companion...but he may just as likely be seen as a fearsome beast, lusting for carnage and craving destruction. In many ways, this parallels the eternal struggle of humanity—ever undulating between enlightened intellectual and depraved destroyer. Both humanity’s struggle between human and animal, and the wolfs reputation of both benevolent and malicious, are perfectly captured in the mythology of the werewolf—a creature who literally shifts between dignified man and howling beast with the passing phases of the moon. When overcome by his transformation, the werewolf is often depicted as a ravenous brute who murders his fellow man and may not even remember the events himself. But sometimes even in this state he is no mindless creature—merely one set free from societal inhibition, and remains ever loyal to his loved ones—his human “pack”. This talisman is meant to guide us through our own difficult transformations, and keep us on the loving and compassionate side of our natures as we do so.
